RES fee to remain unchanged – Price at RSD 0.093 per kilowatt hour
This is the fee which acts as an incentive for the usage of renewable energy sources (RES) paid by all consumers in Serbia.
The fee is expressed as an item on the electricity bill and is used to subsidize the production of electricity from wind, solar, biomass and biogas energy, by small HPPs and from other sources, under the Energy Law and the adjacent bylaws.
The funds thus collected are not put directly into the construction of these power plants, but to stimulate the production from RES. The fee was introduced in 2013.
