Paracin was visited last week by representatives of a large local company and Turkish company, Glas Sumadije reports and reminds that the Swedish company Rimaster has been present in the town for a long time now.
– Representatives of Rimaster have announced the employment of up to a thousand workers, and we are in talks with the two companies about the potential creation of up to 650 jobs, along with the construction of about ten thousand square meters of business space – says the president of the Municipality of Paracin, Sasa Paunovic.
Companies Class Comerc and Natura Gusto have so far invested over EUR 400,000 in the procurement of equipment and the building of a new production facility of 600 m2 in the Industrial Zone Zmic. Along with its regular activities, Class Comerc is also launching new food products, such as, for example, rice cakes. Ten workers will be employed at the facility initially, and the investor expects that new workers will be needed once the test run starts.
– The ratio of the funds invested and the expected number of employees shows the size of the investments needed for the creation of a job in the SMEs sector. The capacities of the industrial zone are slowly being filled. This year will see the continuation of the construction of infrastructure and the construction of an industrial park in the same area. If the two companies we've been negotiating with buy the reserved parcels, we will need to build new streets, sewerage and water supply system and substations – Paunovic adds for Glas Sumadije.
