World’s most entertaining flying show to arrive to Belgrade – Red Bull Flugtag on June 23 on Ada Ciganlija
The first Flugtag took place in Vienna in 1992. So far, the event has been organized in over 150 cities worldwide, gathering several hundred teams. The first Flugtag in Belgrade, held in 2013, featured 37 aircraft and over 150,000 visitors.
The task is to pilot home-made aircraft without engines or batteries and not involving the use of a catapult – one can only use the wind and one’s own strength and creativity. The length of the flight and the pre-flight performance on the platform are rated. The record flight length is 78.64 meters, set on September 12, 2013, in California.
Red Bull invites all potential participants to design and assemble their devices and launch them from the six-meter platform on June 23 on Ada Ciganlija.
Application begins on February 18 and lasts through on March 18.
