Bitef Theater celebrates 30th anniversary

Bitef Theater is celebrating its 30th anniversary this March. On that occasion, the play “M.I.R.A.” will premiere next month, followed by a 30-hour multimedia performance. The celebration will also include a performance of “In the Name of the Lord” by the Kosztolanyi Dezso Theater from Subotica, directed by Andras Urban. A philosophy salon is planned as well, including a lecture by by director Roberto Ciulli, the founder of Theater an der Ruhr, and the presentation of his lexicon “My ABC of Theaters”.

Andras Urban is also the director of “M.I.R.A.”, dedicated to the founder of Bitef Tehater, Mira Trailovic, which will premiere on March 3, the day that the theater was founded 30 years ago.

The 30-hour performance will take place on March 11-12, and Roberto Ciulli's presentation is scheduled for April 1.
