International Sports Medicine Conference on May 23-25 in Belgrade

The 2nd Serbian International Sports Medicine Conference will be held from May 23 through 25, 2019, in Belgrade.

This special event is organized by the Serbian Institute of Sport and Sports Medicine with support of FIMS (International Federation of Sports Medicine) and Sports Medicine Association of Serbia, under the patronage of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Serbia.

As said in the press release, this event will be a great opportunity to link most popular and actual sports medicine topics in 2019 from different scientific areas with practical guidelines for practitioners in the field of sports medicine and sport science (courses and workshops).

– It is widely known that sports medicine contributes to sport accomplishments, as well as to the preservation of the overall health of athletes. This creates our joint assignment and mission which is to share and spread new discoveries and technologies, exchange knowledge in the sphere of sports medicine and sports science. We expect over 1000 medical doctors and sports scientists from Serbia and abroad at this event – the press release says.

Many internationally acclaimed speakers in the field of sports medicine and sports science, both national and international, have confirmed participation at the Conference: Prof Yannis Pitsiladis (FIMS / UK), Prof Fabio Pigozzi (FIMS / Italy), Prof Demitri Constantinou (FIMS / South Africa), Prof Victoria Badtieva (FIMS / Russia), Prof Mats Borjensson (FIMS / Sweden), Prof James Bilzon (FIMS / UK), Prof Jeroen Swart (FIMS / South Africa), Prof Minhao Xie (FIMS / China), Prof Emin Ergen (Aspetar / Turkey), Brajesh Mital MD (UAE), Mourad Ghrairi MD (FIFA Med. Center of Exelence UAE), Yacine Zerguini MD (UAE), Prof Nael El Shal (UAE), Rado Pišot (Slovenia) and many others, the Serbian Institute of Sport and Sports Medicine announced.
