An exhibition of paintings of one the greatest Serbian painters, Milena Pavlovic-Barilli, is open till March 31, announced the Italian Institute for Culture in Belgrade.
Over forty works are exhibited, including her self-portraits, portraits of her parents and prominent people, enigmatic and fantastical compositions and illustrations for prestigious fashion magazines, as well as a fashion design by Igor Todorovic, inspired by Milena Pavlovic-Barilli.
This fashion design presents the life of the delicate young woman – an intriguing painter and poet, who left a mark on both the Serbian and the global art scene.
The exhibit, called “The Magical Milena”, officially opened on November 7, 2018, at the Museum House of Jevrem Grujic, the Institute says in its announcement.
