Nominations for this year’s edition of the EU Sustainable Energy Awards can be submitted online
until February 4, 2019. The awards are part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), organized by the European Commission (Directorate General for Energy and EASME), which will take place from June 17 to June 21.
EUSEW is the biggest event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe, and this year’s tagline is ‘shaping Europe’s energy future’.
During the 2019 EUSEW, five of the year’s most outstanding projects will be named winners of the EUSEW Awards.
According to Guidelines for Awards, the organization running the activities, projects, or actions must be based in the European Union and the activities, projects, actions must be carried out within the EU.
Twelve shortlisted projects will be invited to the awards ceremony in Brussels during the EUSEW Policy Conference and have the chance to compete for not one, but two awards – a category Award and Citizens’ Award.
The invitation to submit applications for 2019 Policy Conference sessions is open until January 28, while calls for Networking Village activities and local sustainable energy events, Energy Days, will be launched in January 2019.
