Net losses registered by "Sojaprotein" in first quarter of year 2009 - 452.9m RSD
"Sojaprotein" registered 425.9m RSD worth of net losses in the first quarter of the year.
The Bečej-based company registered business incomes of 4.58 billion RSD and 5 billion RSD worth of expenses in that first quarter of the year. The business profit of the largest soybean-processing company in Southeastern Europe amounted to 242.8m RSD, but the losses were caused because of the financial expenses that resulted from the growth of Euro's exchange rate.
People from "Sojaprotein" said that the business results in the first quarter were, usually, the worst because soybean products sales were the lowest in that period.
The stocks of "Sojaprotein" are on A listing of the Belgrade Stock Exchange. These securities currently cost 840 RSD, their maximum price of 3,399 RSD was registered in June 2008, while the minimum price of 470 RSD was registered in March 2009.
