Montenegrin store chain Voli planning regional expansion
– Our strategic plans are oriented toward expanding in the region. The most interesting markets for us are the surrounding markets. I believe that we have a lot to offer and that it will be a new, successful stage of our business – Bokan said.
He pointed out that the Montenegrin market was small and that, due to this, many foreign chains were not available, but added that he expected that to change in the near future.
– The market will change with the arrival of new store chains, as has already happened in Croatia and Serbia. The range of products has changes, as has the relation to the local economy – Bokan said.
Voli has 2,100 employees, and in the summer season it hires an additional 250 workers. It is the largest employee in the country.
Bokan says that Voli boasts the highest salaries in the trade business – the average gross salary in retail in the first 11 months of 2018 was around EUR 660.
