Reconstruction of railway from Jajinci to Mala Krsna worth EUR 39.2 million

The company Infrastructure of Serbian Railways and the consortium consisting of the French company Colas and the Serbian company Energorpojekt signed an agreement on the reconstruction of the Jajinci-Mala Krsna railway and the Mala Krsna railway station on December 28.

The agreement is worth around EUR 39.2 million.

The works are expected to begin by June 2019, and the completion deadline is fifteen months from the beginning of the works, the Infrastructure of Serbian Railways says in its press release.

The agreement entails the reconstruction of the railway and electrical facilities and the works on eight stations, six stops, three bridges and three tunnels.


The tracks will be fully closed for traffic during the works and the trains will be redirected to the Belgrade-Mladenovac-Nis railway.

The Jajinci-Mala Krsna railway is located on the international railway Corridor 10 and is 59 kilometers long.
