The Government of Serbia has adopted a decree on the operations and the network of radar centers, which, among other things, bans the installation of wind generators in the vicinity of radar centers.

The decree also defines the locations of radar centers and their protection zones, as well as the types of limitations that can be implemented in protection zones.

The protection zone of a radar center will have a radius of two kilometers, and the limitations also pertain to the height of the facilities that can be raised in the area of a radar center.

The ban on the intallation of wind generators in the area of a radar center pertains to the radius of 10 kilometers from the location of the radar antenna, except in hill and mountain areas, where a wind generator can be installed less than 10 kilometers away from the radar antenna.
