The National Employment Service and Triple Win, a project of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), have opened a job contest for general practice or pediatric nurses and medical technicians, and the invitation pertains to those who want to find a job in Germany.

The invitation is in line with the interstate agreement between Serbia and Germany, based on which Triple Win mediates in the signing of employment contracts in Germany, under the same terms as for people who already work there, GIZ says in its press release.

All interested candidates will get help through additional language and professional training, and they will also be provided with support in the process of leaving for Germany and integrating into its society. Interested candidates do not pay any fees for mediation, nor is the project making any profit in Serbia, as all costs are handled by German employers.

– The project was launched in Serbia six years ago and we have mediated in the employment of 660 general practice nurses and medical technicians since then. On an annual level, this amounts to 110 people – Triple Win says.

The project complies with the codex of conduct of the World Health Organization and doesn't recruit professionals from countries experiencing a lack of workforce in the field of healthcare, nor can it cause a lack of professional workforce in the labor markets of the countries of origin.

– We guarantee a safe trip to Germany, since all German employers also need to meet the requirements of the project, obliging by contract to fulfill all their obligations. This primarily pertains to the signing of employment contracts in Germany under the same terms as for people who already work there. The medical staff leaving for Germany through our project cannot end up as cheap workforce – Triple Win explains.

All interested candidates apply through the National Employment Service. Knowledge of German is not crucial, as the project includes language training, while also helping with the validation of degrees.
