Austrian passenger numbers up by 6.9% in first quarter 2009 compared to first quarter 2008 - AMMAN as new destination starting May 5th, 2009
Austrian Airlines Group in
Serbia posts a 6,9% passenger growth for the first quarter of the year
2009 compared to the same period 2008. Passenger load factor rose up
to 73, 5%.
Austrian Airlines offers 27
flights per week from Belgrade to Vienna and on to more than 130 destinations
in 69 countries worldwide.
Starting May 05th, 2009 Amman
will be added to the Austrian network with three flights per week –
on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The new service will be the fastest
way from Belgrade to Amman with a total travel time of only 5 hours
and 30 minutes.
An Airbus A320 will operate the flights to Amman featuring Austrian Premium Service: unique combination of comfort, recognizable Austrian hospitality and freshly prepared meals of Austrian and Oriental cuisine.
