Qatari Diar to build luxury tourist complex near Tivat – Investment worth EUR 270 million

Qatari Diar will build an exclusive tourist complex, worth EUR 270 million, behind the Przno bay in Krtoli near Tivat. This was announced at the meeting between Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic and the company's representatives, headed by CEO Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah.

The Government of Montenegro said that the company was a member of the Qatar Investment Authority and that it led 60 development projects worth over USD 35 billion in 24 countries through its 3 branch offices on 3 continents. Since 2010, they have owned 270,000 sqm in the back of the Przno bay.

– They emphasize their dedication to the realization of this investment, and the Four Seasons hotel chain has already expressed interest as the operator of the future resort – the government says.

Markovic said that projects worth over EUR 4 billion were currently being realized in Montenegro and that improving the investment environment was one of the government's strategic policies.

He pointed out that all credible investors were welcome to Montenegro and that the state expected them not only to bring money, but also to transfer their experience in business and management. He said that he was glad that the realization of this development project has been announced and promised that such projects would always be supported by the state, says the press release of the Government of Montenegro.
