The Ministry of Infrastructure of Serbia has announced the open competition today (April 23, 2009) for selection of the company that will be supervising the works on construction of 20 kilometers of lanes on the left side of Horgoš-Novi Sad highway.
According to the ad published in newspaper "Politika", the deadline for submission of bids is May 14th, while the decision about selection of the best bidder will be made within 15 days.
The Ministry of Infrastructure announced the tender for selection of contractor for construction of two highway sections of 10 km each on April 3rd. Total length of this highway is 106 km.
This highway is a part of pan-European “Corridor 10” through Serbia and, according to Serbian Minister of Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjić, construction of two new sections should start on May 9th.
Mrkonjić also announced that those sections would be put in traffic on November 29, 2009.
The projected investments in construction of roads on “Corridor 10” through Serbia in 2009 amount to 472m EUR.
