Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade signed agreement with Chamber of Commerce of Chinese city of Wenzhou

The Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade and the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese city of Wenzhou signed the Agreement on cooperation today (April 22, 2009), after the Building Expo in Belgrade and the national pavilion of the province of Wenzhou were opened.

The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade, Milan Janković, estimated that the agreement would enable improvement of Wenzhou’s and China’s business relations with Belgrade and Serbia and CEFTA region.

As he explained, the Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade has made it possible for the Chinese entrepreneurs to meet with over 50 entrepreneurs from Belgrade who are interested in cooperation and potential partnership.

The Deputy Mayor of Wenzhou, Chen Hongfeng, said that the region of Wenzhou was, among the rest, China’s center for production of footwear, electric appliances and clothing, and he pointed out that it had been one of the first cities in the country to open 14 ports in the Pacific for the needs of foreign-trade exchange.
