Free Zone Pirot and Dubai World Free Zones Organization to open Regional Office in Serbia

The agreement on the opening of the Regional Office for Southeast Europe in Serbia was signed between Free Zone Pirot and the World Free Zones Organization (WFZO) from Dubai at the World Free Zone Summit 2018 in Zhuhai, China. The aim of the Regional Office is to represent the interests of free zones, enhance working conditions for free zone users, enable more favorable incentives for attracting investments and realize the zones' strategic goals.

The WFZO is a non-profit organization which brings together more than 500 biggest free zones in the world.

The regional office will enable the usage of the services offered by the WFZO and the exchange of information and knowledge, aiming to attract direct investments, develop the business and make for a modern approach to the organization of the operations of free zones.

On behalf of the WFZO, the agreement on the formation of the office was signed by CEO Dr Samir Hamrouni.
