Assembly of European Tourism Commission in Belgrade – April 2-4

The General Assembly of European Tourism Commission (ETC), which will be attended by 29 representatives of the countries members and managers of national tourism organizations, will be held between April 2nd and 4th in Belgrade.

As the Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS) announced, the General Assembly will be organized on April 3rd in hotel "Hyatt". It has been announced that the conference on economic crisis, the measures introduced by national tourism organizations and prognoses for year 2009 will be held on that occasion. Speakers at the conference will be Artur Oberaser, the President of ETC, and Gordana Plamenac, the CEO of TOS.

ETC is the association of national tourism organizations of Europe that was founded 60 years ago with the aim of promoting European tourism as unique product.

The headquarters of the Commission is in Brussels. Total of 39 national tourism organizations in Europe are full-right members of this Commission. Serbia signed the membership form on October 3rd, 2006, and became a member on January 1st, 2007.

ETC has its own portal where Serbia’s tourism offer is made equal to the offers of other countries members.
