Egypt ready to enable import of wheat from Serbia

Egypt is ready to put Serbia on the list of countries allowed to import wheat to the market, as confirmed yesterday by Egyptian Ambassador to Serbia Amr Aljowaily in his conversation with Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of Serbia Rasim Ljajic, the ministry announced.

Aljowaily pointed out that the procedure of enabling Serbia to export wheat to Egypt, which is among the largest importers of grains in the world, was in its final stage.

They also discussed the enhancement of the total economic relations of Serbia and Egypt and the future steps in strengthening the cooperation in the fields of trade and tourism.
