The new Fiat CEO, Mike Manley, unveiled the changes in the management on October 1, only two months after he succeeded Sergio Marchionne following his sudden death.

Manley disclosed that, instead of him, the Jeep brand will be run by Tim Kuniskis, also the head of the Alfa Romeo brand, whereas Reid Bigland is the new head of trucks brand RAM.

In Europe, the current FCA chief technology officer Harald Wester takes over luxury brand Maserati, whereas Pietro Gorlier is now in charge of FCA's operations in Europe as a successor to Alfredo Altavilla, who left after Manley's appointment.

Ermanno Ferrari has been appointed head of Magneti Marelli, the components unit that may be spun off.

Manley said that the new management structure would contribute to the realization of five-year goals from the strategy presented in June.
