Agreement on mutual abolition of visa requirements between Serbia and UAE signed

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic and UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed signed an agreement on the mutual abolition of visa requirements between the two states yesterday in New York.

As reported on the website of the Government of Serbia, at the meeting held on the margins of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly, Dacic thanked Zayed for the Emirates' continued support to Serbia in carrying out demanding economic reforms.

Dacic pointed out the importance of constant contacts between state administrations, all to the end of further improving the bilateral cooperation and solidifying the friendly relations.


Zayed pointed out that the economic activities between the two states were on an upswing and that new investments are expected.

The commencement of the preparation of the Agreement on the Strategic Partnership and regular mutual visits were also agreed at the meeting.
