Valjevo preparing industrial zone for German investor – Construction of facility in autumn 2019
According to the mayor, it is clear that the City of Valjevo needs to have a very high criterion when it comes to the contractor, as the deadlines for everything concerning the new industrial zone in Valjevo have been defined and need to be honored, so that “a big German investor” could start building its facility in the new industrial zone next autumn.
– In May next year, the traffic route through the industrial zone should be completed. It's also important that talks have been had with people from the Highway Institute, who have been provided with funds from the state to prepare a preliminary and a final design for the M4 road. We discussed where the connection of the industrial zone with M4 might be. The road connects Valjevo with Nepricava, where they would connect to Corridor 11 – the mayor of Valjevo emphasizes.
The traffic route which passes through the industrial zone will be around 7 meters wide. Its construction will be accompanied with the construction of the necessary utility infrastructure, water and sewerage system above all, as well as the optical cables to be laid down during the construction of the road.
– We have also agreed for a large substation of 35/10 kV to be installed in Belgrade. We have a clear plan for this substation and the waste water treatment plant which we will also build to be on our land. The waste water factory will meet the needs of users in the old industrial zone as well, on the land of the former Stefil plant, as well as those in the new industrial zone – Gvozdenovic said and pointed out that the City had received guarantees from the Government of Serbia that it would help the project, Valjevska Posla reports.
