Italian brand Ariston has made a decision, after a year of research of the Serbian market, to build its new facility in Svilajnac. The company already signed and agreement with city municipality to lease an industrial hall with the surface area of 4,000 m2 in Veliko Polje but the contract stipulates that the company could buy out the facility if they were satisfied with the overall production.

According to the Mayor of Svilajnac, Predrag Milanovic 10 cities in Serbia competed for the brand but Svilajnac won and he added they were very proud of this project.

The factory will employ 110 workers in the next three years who will make heating systems for electrical appliances on the global level. In the third year of production we expect for exports to amount to USD 30,000,000 and I can say that we will manufacture heaters for all the world-famous brands such as Bosch, Gorenje and others, Milanovic assessed.

He added that Ariston representatives have already visited the facility, by the end of the year they would bring in the equipment and the production should start at the beginning of 2019. They also opened a job contest for workers because the job involves complex operations that requires training in Italy.
