Ubisoft Belgrade moves into new office
As the company stated, the initial number of 15 employees in November 2016 when Ubisoft opened its offices in Belgrade has increased to current 60 employees and they were planning to add more soon.
– Ubisoft Belgrade's goal is to become the focal point on the map of the East European market thanks to the great number of professionals from various technological fields. The move will provide us with necessary conditions for further growth so that we could transform the Belgrade office into a crucial player of the local IT industry and the AAA games development in Serbia, Managing Director of Ubisoft Bucharest, Ubisoft Kiev i Ubisoft Belgrade, Sebastian Delen said.
New offices increase the visibility of the company on the local market and support Ubisofts's growth strategy through hiring local talent and increasing the number of position across all sectors including the newly-added Art, Game and Level Design and development and testing. At the moment, the company is focusing on expanding its programmer team, hire more 3D modelers in the art sector and expand its development and testing team.
Since the studio opened in Belgrade the designer team has worked on various projects such as PC version of Ghost Recon Wildlands , Player versus Player Ghost War mode for Ghost Recon Wildlands, Steep: Road to the Olympics sequel and recently launched The Crew 2
Ubisoft Belgrade opened in 2016 and represents a stalwart of the gaming industry in Serbia. The company has developed some of the biggest AAA games such as Ghost Recon Wildlands, Steep and The Crew 2.
