DODIK: Highway to Belgrade through Bijeljina in six to seven years

The president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated on August 29, 2018, in Bijeljina that the cooperation with Serbia was growing more intensive and expressed his conviction that the highway from Banjaluka through Bijeljina to Serbia would be built in six to seven years.

Dodik pointed out that the construction of the highway to Kuzmin was one of the main project which should provide Bijeljina with additional opportunities to develop.

– These days, we are talking to the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and experts from Serbia in order to define the meeting point on the highway, following which the planning should start. I don't think the funds are a problem either. Serbia has solved a large part of its economic and financial problems, and we are stable as well – Dodik told the press.

He pointed out that this was the most concrete instance of cooperation with Serbia up till that point.
