Since 2016, a total of 51 contracts on the allocation of incentives to companies in Serbia have been signed, and the total value of the companies' planned investments amounts to around EUR 504 million.
The realization of these projects will lead to the employment of at least 28,288 new workers, as shown by the data of the Ministry of Economy presented to Tanjug.
The value of the incentives the state has provided for these 51 contracts amounts to around EUR 168.6 million. In 2018, the total value of the investments companies plan to realize, on which the state has signed ten contracts, amounts to EUR 128.6 million.
The realization of these projects, as estimated in the document, will lead to the creation of at least 4,699 new jobs in the country. The state has provided incentives worth around EUR 38 million for those 10 contracts.
In 2017, a total of 21 contracts were signed on the allocation of money to companies planning to invest EUR 151.4 million. It is said that incentives in the amount of EUR 47 million were approved, and the realization of these projects will help create 7,855 new jobs.
According to the data of the Ministry of Economy, in 2016, one contract fewer was signed with companies planning to invest EUR 224 million, and the incentives approved by the state amount to around EUR 83.5 million. As said in the document, the realization of these projects creates at least 15,734 new jobs.
