The first test flights of the MiG-29 plane
that arrived to Serbia last year have been carried out at the military airport of Batajnica, the Serbian Armed Forces announced.
The Head of the General Staff, Ljubisa Dikovic, attended the first MiG-29 test flight, successfully carried out by Dimitri Selivanov, the test pilot at the company RSK.
Talking with Russian experts and members of the 204th airforce brigade, Dikovic learned about the works currently being carried out and expressed his satisfaction with their dynamics.
As said, these flights are the last test before the first of the six planes procured last year from the Russian Federation are put into operation and at the same time the first flights of one of the new planes in the Serbian airspace.
