Equal tolls for local and foreign vehicles

The prices of tolls for vehicles with foreign license plates on the highways in Serbia have been reduced today (February 20, 2009) to the level of the prices for vehicles with local license plates.

As the people in public company "Putevi Srbije" explained, the new price list was put in effect this morning at 7 AM.

According to the new price list, the price of toll for vehicles with local license plates on Belgrade-Niš section ranges between 730 and 4,390 RSD.

The Government of Serbia made the decision on February 5th to lower the tolls for foreign vehicles to the level of tolls for vehicles with Serbian license plates.
