Russians gave up takeover of "Prva petoletka" – opportunity for second-ranked Ukrainian-British consortium
- The first-ranked bidder on the tender for sale of “Prva Petoletka“ from Trstenik, Russian company “ Bummaš“, has given up takeover of that company because of the global financial crisis - the Privatization Agency announced today (February 19, 2009).
Industry of hydraulics and pneumatics “Prva petoletka“ was sold on January 22nd to the consortium of two Russian companies - Bummaš and Rosmasstorg – for 5m EUR.
According to the announcement, the Agency will keep the deposit and invite the second-ranked bidder – the consortium of “Lvivski avtobusni zavody“ from Ukraine and “City Transport Construction Investments“ from Great Britain – to sign the sales contract.
