CCIS and DAS invite companies to take part in China International Import Expo in November 2018 – Applications by July 18
CIIE, organized by the Government of the People's Republic of China and the China International Import Export Bureau, is held in order to stimulate the import of foreign goods and services to China, in line with the country's efforts towards the promotion of the globalization and the openness of the market. The fair is expected to act as a platform where the participating states would present their economic potentials and be given an opportunity to establish contacts with Chinese partners, the DAS says.
Representatives of over 100 countries and regions , as well as 150,000 professional purchasers from China and other countries are expected to attend.
At CIIE 2018, Serbian producers from the food industry will present their new products at a 54-m2 national stand.
Space rent and stand construction costs are carried by the organizers, whereas the exhibitors carry the costs of the participation in the presentation costs within the national stand in the amount of EUR 500 in dinar countervalue.
Exhibitors carry travel, accommodation and item transport costs by themselves.
Participants eligible for presentations within the national stand are companies, enterprises and business entities registered in the Republic of Serbia which produce finished and semi-finished food products.
Filled-out, signed, stamped and scanned application forms, as well as the scanned Certificate of Paid Taxes of the Tax Administration at the Ministry of Finance, may be sent by Wednesday, July 18, 2018, until 4 pm, electronically, to milanka.stojakovic@pks.rs.
The original of the Certificate of Paid Taxes of the Tax Administration at the Ministry of Finance, along with the filled-out, signed and stamped application form, need to be sent to the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, 13-15 Resavska Street, 11000 Belgrade, with the note: The Department for the Organization of Fairs and Events, for Jovanka Calina.
As specified, up to 6 exhibitors can present their products at the national stand. In case more potential participants apply, they will be ranked by the exports realized last year, the success of their presentations, organized by the CCIS, at previous fairs, the number of fairs they took part in, organized by the CCIS, the existence of a new design solution, new products, production processes and similar criteria.
The organizers determine whether the requirements are met and select the exhibitors, it is added.
