Filming of final Game of Thrones season ends

After more than nine months, the filming of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones has ended.

The final season will consist of six new episodes, the content of which has been kept secret by the producers thanks to special measures.

– We wouldn’t get anything physical. We would have it on an app. We would get sent sides for the scene we were shooting the next day. So we would have to learn it all the day before. And once you’ve read it, it disappears 24 hours later – says Sophie Turner, who plays the character of Sansa Stark in the show.

She also revealed that taking photos was forbidden and that phone cameras had to be covered with stickers, whereas actors were given code names so that no one knew who was going to be on the set.
