Company "Notos" builds 20m EUR worth of "windmill farm” in Belo Blato near Zrenjanin - 89 ha of land bought for that purpose
Company "Notos" has bought 89 ha of land in Zrenjanin’s village of Belo Blato to build a farm with 19 windmills for production of electric energy. Future farm will be situated at the confluence of the Begej and the Tisa, not far away from natural reservation Carska Bara.
According to the website of the company, "Notos" plans to invest over 20m EUR in the wind energy exploitation systems in Serbia.
According to the company’s plan, a large control tower for checking power and direction of winds will be built first, and its completion will be followed by construction of the first wind-generators.
The windmill farm would be of great importance to that part of Banat, not only because it would produce electricity, but also because several inhabitants of that village would get jobs. In addition, access road, water supply network and administrative building would be built and the area would be organized.
- "Notos energija vetra" (Notos wind energy) is going to develop the unit for production of electric power in Municipality of Zrenjanin. We have chosen a flat piece of land that represents an ideal location for production of pure and profitable electric power for local area. Along with the production of energy, "Notos agri" will develop this fertile land into an agricultural farm for wheat growing – it is stated on the website of the company.
Realization of project "Belo Blato" will enable production of 20 MW of electric power, and the entire Serbian market will be supplied with energy. The windmill farm produces renewable electric energy that will help future generations reduce emission of greenhouse gases.
"Notos energija vetra" is thinking about using "Vestas" wind turbines "V52" (V52). They are extremely reliable and, thanks to their compact dimensions, they can be easily transported and installed.
More than 2,100 "V52" turbines are installed all over the world. Over the last 25 years, "Vestas" expanded the limits of what can be done with "V52". “Vestas” offers the towers of five different heights, ranging between 44 and 77 meters, and "V52at" is also equipped with “Optispeed”, which maximizes aerodynamic use of rotor depending on the alterable wind conditions.
Company "Notos" wants to change the way in which electric power is produced. As they explain, they are investing in the future by planning complete, pure form of energy such as the energy of wind. "Notos" is the only "green" electro-company that is focused on use of this new energy source in Serbia.
The President of the Administrative Board of company "Notos" is Miodrag Andrić. Over the last seven years, Miodrag has been working in the domain of alternative energy. His former job in company "Scientific Biofuel Solutions Ltd", where he was the Director, gives him insight into future development of "Notos Ltd.". He also gained rich business experience by working as a business adviser of "Maraccot Industries" in Bangkok, the Sales and Marketing Manager in "Active Energy" in Vancouver, and as adviser of "Tidewater Management" in Vancouver. Miodrag Andrić graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education, the University in Belgrade. He fluently speaks Serbian, English, French, Italian, German and Russian language.
