The agricultural distribution center will be put in operation on February 1st in Moscow. It will be delivering fresh and frozen fruit and vegetables, pasta, meat and meat products from Serbia to all parts of Russia.

The products of "Delta agrar" and all other manufacturers from Serbia that meet the standards will be offered to the market of Russia.

The CEO of the newly founded company "Delta Food Moskva", Marijan Stričević, estimated that the privileges that Serbia had got thanks to the trade agreement with Russia should be used in the best possible way.

- Our first task is to provide high-quality goods and create positive image of products from Serbia – said Stričivić.

He said that he expected strong penetration of Russian market, which offers great opportunities to Serbian agricultural sector since Russia has, so far, been one of the greatest importers of Serbian fruit.

According to his words, "Delta agrar" will try to establish cooperation with individual manufacturers concerning transfer of know-how and technologies for improvement of production.

- We believe that the Government of Serbia and the Ministry of Agriculture will realize how this project is important for survival and development of Serbian agrarian sector, and that they will support us – said Stričević.
