Chinese Qingdao Rongxing to build logistics center in Indjija – Poultry farms planned throughout Serbia
As eKapija learns at the cabinet of the president of this municipality in Vojvodina, the construction of the logistics center will begin by the end of 2018 and is the first phase of the entire investment.
Furthermore, as Nemanja Milojevic, the head of the cabinet of the municipality's president, explains for eKapija, the investor will first open its logistics center, from which it will distribute products to clients throughout Europe. In the second phase, the plan of the Chinese company is to start producing poultry throughout Serbia, both at its own farms and in cooperation with contractors.
According to him, a letter of intent for the purchase of the parcel is expected in the next couple of weeks, following which the sale will be advertised.
Qingdao Rongxing supplies many retail and hospitality chains worldwide, KFC among them, with poultry.
In addition to this company, many other Chinese companies, from the food, car and construction industries, are interested in doing business in Indjija.
