France-Balkans Business Forum from May 30 till June 1 in Belgrade
The third France-Balkans Business Forum is organized by Business France. The organizers will look into all the most promising sectors of activity, especially the sectors of infrastructure and equipment in the field of transport, energy efficiency and waste management, agri-industry, new information and communications technologies, as well as all the clients of goods and services in the sector of tourism and hotel management.
As announced, other sectors, such as automotive, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry can also be included per request.
The announcement of this multi-lateral meeting of companies says that Serbia and Belgrade are on the crossroads between West and East Europe, featuring dynamic economy.
The Western Balkans has a GDP growth rate of over 3%. As said, this is a dynamic economic zone on the door to the EU, in the process of accession and using pre-accession fund and considerable financial funds of international financial institutions.
At the moment, there are several billion euros put into the region by all financial organizations together, directed at projects worth several dozen billion euros.
The projects financed within the Berlin process aim to improve the interconnectivity in this zone and bring the Western Balkans closer to the European Union in terms of infrastructure.
