For the third year in a row, Spanish companies will take part in the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad and present their latest technological achievements in the most important segments of this field, as announced by the Embassy of Spain in Belgrade.

Thanks to the Commercial-Economic Department of the Embassy of Spain in Belgrade and the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), Serbian enterprises will be able to exchange experiences with six companies, experts in the field of technology and equipment in agriculture.

Companies Agrator, Caudal, Invernaderos Ima, RKD Irrigation, Tradecorp and Jympa will present innovations in the most important aspects of agricultural production, such as plastic green houses, production of various types of irrigation hoses and pipes, as well as irrigation machines, production of fertilizers and plant feeding products and soil preparation machinery.

– The sector of agricultural technology is one of our priorities in Serbia, considering that agriculture and livestock farming will continue with the process of modernization in the upcoming years, in order to increase their presence in foreign markets. We believe that it is in that sense that Spain can offer its technological achievements, based on its own experience and the needs arising in the growing of fruit, vegetables, grapes, olives, where Spain is one of the leading producers, as well as in various subsectors in livestock farming, such as pig and cattle rearing. Furthermore, Spain can offer innovative solutions, oriented towards overcoming climate and geography-related difficulties, especially regarding water management – says the press release by the Embassy of Spain.

As added, the Commercial-Economic Department, in cooperation with ICEX, plans to organize the Spain-Serbia Business Forum on October 22-24 in Belgrade.
