Auto-Kabel considers opening manufacturing facility in Kosjeric

Illustration) German company Auto-Kabel which manufactures cables for automotive industry is considering opening another manufacturing facility in Kosjeric,

Accordingly, today the potential employer will organize Career Day in this city in collaboration with the local government.

Ozonpress internet portal reports the unofficial news that the company's plan is to first hire about 150 workers and in time the number of workers could reach anywhere between 350 and 400. The average salary could be between RSD 40,000 and 50,000. As a possible facility location the former place of Kristal factory next to the Belgrade-Bar railway is being taken into consideration. Whether this investment will be realized depends on whether Kosjeric can secure enough workers.


Auto-Kabel was founded in 1930 and today does business with the top manufacturers in automotive industry such as BMW, Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen, Jaguar, Reno, and Peugeot. Beside Germany they have opened facilities in many other countries like USA, Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, Sweden, China and Japan.
