The Nepalese Chaudhary Group, which opened a noodle factory in Ruma in 2017, will open a luxury wellness and spa center in Vojvodina, the corporation’s president, Binod Chaudhary, announced yesterday in his interview with eKapija.

The center will be a franchise within the CG Hospitality Group, like the Philippine hotel center The Farm at San Benito, and the idea is for Serbia to get an exclusive wellness and spa center, which would be comparable in terms of services to similar facilities in Austria, Switzerland and Germany, but at considerably lower prices.

CG Hospitality has centers throughout Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The details about the amount, the capacities and the dynamics of the works will be known in the upcoming period, Chaudhary told our portal, and the only thing known so far is that Fruska Gora is the most likely location for the investment. As our interviewee said, the tourist complex should be located on the southern slopes of the mountain, in Mala Remeta.

When it comes to the experience with operations in Serbia so far, Chaudhary is satisfied, but says that they have plenty more to learn.

– The eight months that we’ve been operating here is not a long period, but we’ve managed to open as many as 18 markets in various parts of the world in those eight months. We’d like for our exporting hub to be located in Ruma, and we also plan to add new products – Chaudhary explains for eKapija.

As he claims, they need “a more aggressive approach and product marketing”.

– As our capacities grow, so will the number of employees – the first Nepalese billionaire explains and added that they plan to cover the entire European market with their products and to soon open towards East Europe.

The press wanted to know why the company had decided to open its first European facility in Serbia, and Chaudhary explained that, in its desire to conquer the European market, the corporation had looked for a country that would be a base for exports to both Western and Eastern Europe.

Binod Chaudhary is the first Nepalese billionaire. On April 23, he presented the first Serbian translation of his autobiography Making it Big in Belgrade. It talks about the businessman’s ascent from being an owner of a small family textile store to a billionaire on the Forbes list. The book has been translated in several languages, and the Serbian edition is issued by Samizdat.

Chaudhary Group is a multinational conglomerate with a portfolio of over 120 companies in five continents and 76 brands in the global market.
