Belgrade International Building Trade Fair opens
Opening the event, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic said that the goal was to have not 50, but 150 exhibitors more the next year.
– Each year, the building trade fair shows how much we've accomplished economically, because the better the investment conditions are, the more exhibitors there are – the minister said.
She pointed out that Serbia was not the same as five years before and that businessmen looking to invest knew that the country was politically and economically stable.
– Serbia is tenth in the world in issuing building permits. We are heading towards having an electronic land register and electronic plans, but there's more to be done. There is still a lot of work we need to do together with companies which need to join together for the upcoming construction and infrastructure projects – Mihajlovic said.
The entire offer from all construction fields is presented in the seven halls of the Belgrade Fair and in the outdoor area, and a dancing excavator is a special attraction for visitors.
The biggest international trade fair of stone and related industries STONEEXPO SERBIA, is held as a special event the fair.
The working hours are 10 am till 7 pm from April 18 through 20 and 10 am till 5 pm on April 21.
Individual tickets cost RSD 300, group ones are RSD 200, tickets for pupils and students of vocational schools cost RSD 100, and an hour of parking costs RSD 100.
