Slovenia’s Pipistrel to build aircraft plant in China

The Slovenian producer of ultralight planes Pipistrel from Ajdovscina has started building an aircraft plant in the Chinese city of Jurong, near Nanjing, Tanjug reports, citing Slovenia’s Dnevnik.

With its Chinese partner, Pipistrel will, in addition to an airport and a plane factory, also build a large residential complex with a shopping center in Jurong. The investment is worth over a billion euros, the Ljubljana newspaper reports.
