Serbia among biggest exporters to Bulgaria
In the same period, Bulgarian exports jumped by 11.1% y-o-y to BGN 9.62 billion (EUR 4.9 billion), the agency BTA reports.
The total foreign trade balance in the first two months was negative, amounting to BGN 1.6 billion (EUR 818 million).
Bulgarian export to third countries (markets outside of the EU), dropped in the said period by 20.9% y-o-y to BGN 2.24 billion (EUR 1.14 billion), whereas the import from those countries rose by 9.3% to BGN 3.48 billion (EUR 1.77 billion).
In value, products imported from the Russian Federation, Turkey, China and Serbia dominated this segment, BTA says, without specifying the amounts.
