By the end of 2008 six socially owned companies will be announced on tenders for sale

By the end of 2008, there will be published 6 tenders for sale of socially owned companies, as it was announced yesterday (December, 11th, 2008) at the Agency for privatization.

The word is about public invitations for sale of remaining property owned by "Genex" in Belgrade, "PIM" construction company, "Belgrade fair", "Samot" company from Arandjelovac, holding company "Automotors factory 21.maj" from Belgrade (DMB), and also there will be announcement for sale of the remaining parts of "MIN Holding" company. Most likely, strategic partner will be seeked for "PIM" company.

About privatization of the Belgrade fair was mostly talked in the public, as tender has been announced since the beginning of this year. Earlier, interest for this company showed Italian fair "Rimini", Australian fair "Reed Exhibitions", as well as the French "Gilles elivent", but it is yet unknown which ones are still interested parties.

"Genex" company has a significant part of their assets unsold, which is for sure the Genex tower building. "Delta real estate" company which already bought Genex apartments and Continental hotel, announced earlier, that it was also interested in buying the tower, but also that it would give more specific announcements once the tender conditions would be known.

"DMB" company is successfully doing business on the market of Serbia. It manufactures engines with internal burning power, small agricultural mechanization, aircraft components, processing equipment, tools, devices and machines for packaging, and also it provides services for engines and motor vehicles, hotel and restaurant services, touristic services, importing and freight forwarding services.

"Samot" from Arandjelovac is the largest manufacturer of aluminum-sylicon materials, and it also makes bricks, stones, stoves, as well as other heating devices.
