POPOVIC: Rubin to be helped in increasing export to Russia
He said that it would not be easy, but that Rubin offered a great price-quality ratio, which would be well accepted among Russian customers.
Popovic also said that the company currently exported to Russia as well, but that he was convinced that, in the upcoming years, the export would be three to five times bigger.
– Russian customers want these products, as Russia still imports 95% of all wines and spirits, so Rubin has potential – the minister concluded.
The executive director of Rubin, Goran Bekric, reminded that the company was present in the market of Russia, but to a lesser extend than it deserves.
He added that the factory had 1,200 hectares of vineyards in 19 locations in Serbia and announced the expansion of vineyards in Paracin, Zitoradja and other places.
