Works on development of Užice’s business incubator in final phase – first tenants in March

Business incubator, which is recognized by Užice’s local economic development strategy as one of the priorities in the support to development of entrepreneurship, will be put in operation prior to end of March.

The construction works are already in the final phase, and the open competition for selection of tenants will be announced soon.

The republic and the city invested about 1m EUR in development of the facility, which was also helped by USAID.

The business building of the incubator, situated in the industrial zone of Sevojno, has the surface of 1,600 square meters and it will have 20 incubator nests – the initiators of future small enterprises that should be prepared for development of their own business and engagement of new manpower.

The priority in the use of incubators will be given to newly founded companies and entrepreneurs in the domain of production with the completed business plans for opening their own enterprises. The future tenants will get office space and free training.
