Germany's Steag Energy Services to prepare preliminary design for ecological reconstruction of TPP Pljevlja

The estimated value of the preparation of the preliminary design of an ecological reconstruction of TPP Pljevlja, with the installed power of 225 MW, is EUR 900,000, and Steag Energy Services has seven months to do the job.
The project of the ecological reconstruction of Unit I of TPP Pljevlja is worth EUR 40 million, and the plan is for the preparation of the preliminary design to be followed by the selection of the contractor and the equipment to be installed in a period of about three years, EPCG announced.
The project, without which this big polluter would be facing a shutdown, includes the construction of a system for desulfuring, denitirification, upgrade of the electrofiltering facility, construction of waste water system and reconstruction of the system of transport of combustion byproducts, as well as the construction of a heating station as part of the project of heating in the municipality of Pljevlja.

It is present in over 80 countries across the globe. It is one of the biggest producers of electrical energy in Germany, with power plants with a total installed power of over 7,000 MW.
