Loads of toxic agents that had been depositing for years in old shack of mining flotation of "Šuplja stijena" in Gradac near Pljevlja were transported to Lead and Zinc Mine "Breznica" in Gornji Milanovac.

Besides flotation of 18 ha of barren land and 3.5 million tons of toxic agents located in the vicinity of the Ćehotina river, poisonous cyanide, copper sulfate and other reagents have been stored in the dilapidated shack since the time the mine was closed, back in 2000.

Storage company "Breznica" says that this area is threatened with ecological catastrophe that may have unforeseeable consequences. Quantity of 210 kg of cyanide was transported in 7 barrels.

It is assumed that over half a million ton of toxic agents polluted the Ćehotina river. Slovenian Chemical Institute calculated that concentration of zinc in the soil amounts to 15 mg, whereas it should not be more than 0.2 mg. Barren land contains unknown quantities of mercury, cadmium, antimony, molybdenum, arsenic, gold, nickel, phenol, copper - sulfate, cyanide and other extremely toxic reagents.
