"Montenegro Airlines" lost status of national airliner – Terms for new contract presented to Montenegrin company
The Belgrade Airport has offered new terms for settlement of obligations to company "Montenegro Airlines" because the former contract with that Montenegrin company has expired.
As the people from the Belgrade Airport explained, the contract that used to
provide the status of a local air transportation company to "Montenegro
Airlines" expired in October 2008 and that is why the terms for new
contract were presented to the Montenegrin company.
- The representatives of "Montenegro Airlines" are offered identical
privileges that we offer to all national airliners of other countries, such as "Lufthansa",
"Air France" or "British Airways" – people from Airport "Nikola
Tesla" explained.
It is also added that Airport "Nikola Tesla" has excellent business
relations with air transportation company "Montenegro Airlines" and
that it is considered a very important business partner.
- In spite of strong emotions we feel towards former federation with that
country, public company Airport "Nikola Tesla" is of the opinion that
emotions can not govern business relations – said the people from the Belgrade
Airport.
They also said that the price list was identical for all air transportation
companies and that it had been in effect since December 1st, 2005.
The price list can be found at www.beg.aero, in column About us - Pricelists.
President of "Montenegro Airlines", Zoran Đurišić, said that the prices of services provided by the Belgrade Airport had been increased by as much as 90% and he accused the airport administration of “monopoly relations” and asked Minister Lompar to make sure that the Government of Montenegro took “certain measures” to protect the interests of "Montenegro Airlines".
