Vulovic Group bought five trucks last year, and now it has also obtained all the licenses for international passenger and cargo transport, InfoKG reports.

– We are activating these services this year. We will be importing and exporting for the needs of third parties, and the markets of Russia and Belarus are our priority. There’s good potential there – Zoran Vulovic, owner of Vulovic Group, told InfoKG.

The company produces and assembles buses, trucks and trolleys in cooperation with the Belarusian company MAZ, and they are also developing their own bus models.

Vulovic says that the cooperation with MAZ began 15 years ago and explains that his company was given free licenses for production of 18-, 12- and 8-meter buses, as well as for assembling trolleys.

– I believe that there’s great potential in these trolleys, and big tenders for the procurement of these vehicles are expected in the neighborhood in the next three years, with Romania alone procuring more than 250, and there are also Hungary and Greece.

He also adds that they are cooperation on truck manufacture with MAZ, because, he says, “there’s a great gap in the Serbian market when it comes to trucks, especially regarding the utility field”.

Vulovic Group also provides public transportation services in Kragujevac and Kraljevo.

– These days it was 15 years since we had joined the public transport system in Kragujevac. The transporter at the time, Autosaobracaj, now sadly defunct, was incapable of filling up the timetable. We won the tender and joined the public transport system with 9 vehicles, and now we have 28.

In Kraljevo, they have been operating since the time the town’s public transporter met the same fate as Autosaobracaj.

– The management invited us to help them, as they had lost the transport service. We went there and stabilized the situation. A ten-year tender is expected, which is a good opportunity for an investment if the conditions prove to be good – Vulovic told InfoKG.
