Firestop Internacional starts producing innovative fire protection coatings – Plan to penetrate new markets

The Nova Pazova-based factory of intumescent fire protection coatings Firestop Internacional has started producing a new generation of coatings for protection of steel structures under the Firestop Steel X-MART brand.

– X-MART is an upgraded coating formula, produced as a result of several years of experience in the production, development and implementation of intumescent coatings. The innovative technology provides extended fire protection – up to 120 minutes, increased resistance to atmospheric influences and a quicker and simpler application – Firestop Internacional says.

– The quality of new coatings will match the needs of complex construction projects and provide a bigger choice of efficient solutions meeting the standards of fire protection and environmental protection.

By the end of 2018, more new products from the X-MART series should be launched, and the plan is to also complete the process of certification of the coatings in line with European standards, thereby enabling penetration of new markets.
