All GSP Belgrade vehicles to get wireless internet – Tender for procurement of 600 routers and 950 SIM cards opens
As stated in the documentation, the winner of the tender will need to provide the necessary devices (routers) with SIM cards for 600 vehicles and SIM cards only for 350 vehicles.
Among other things, the supplier is required to secure the connecting of a minimum of 30 users through a single router simultaneously and to deliver 3,000 stickers for vehicles, notifying the passengers that free internet is available in the vehicle.
The minimum amount of data transferred through all devices a month is 40 TB with an obligation period, defined by contract, of 24 months from the date of the completion of the installation or until the financial value is reached.
Data transfer speeds need to be in line with the 3G/4G mobile technology (with 4G given an advantage in the areas covered by both types of signal), for a minimum of 90% of the time during which the obligations arising from the contract are in effect.
The supplier obliges to provide the service at the maximum possible speed, until the amount of data from the basic subscription or tariff packages is spent.
After this data is spent, the selected supplier obliges to enable a symmetrical internet connection and access of a minimum of 1024 kb/s per active SIM card, which will not be charged for.
The deadline for the submission of offers is February 5, and the public opening will take place on the same date at GSP Belgrade.
